Black History Month

During Black History Month, the children explored the life and achievements of Jesse Owens, the legendary Olympic athlete who overcame significant racial challenges to achieve greatness. The children worked hard to research and write detailed biographies about Owens, highlighting his perseverance, determination, and remarkable achievements in the face of adversity. This not only deepened their understanding of history but also inspired them to reflect on the importance of courage and resilience.
