During the week commencing 6th November, Reception learned about the festival of Diwali, as well as celebrating on the Friday as a whole school for ‘Diwali Day’. Over the week, we looked at the Rama and Sita story, discussing how good triumphs over bad and that light triumphs over darkness. We have enjoyed listening to music, Bhangra dancing, exploring rangoli and mehndi patterns and making diva lamps.
