To introduce our new topic of ‘Super Heroes and Super Villains’, children have been presented with a range of stories that link to this theme. These have included: The Highway Rat, The Hare and the Tortoise and Supertato! Children have loved learning about these characters and have even had the opportunity to create their own versions!
Within each class, our reading libraries have been transformed to ensure children have access to a range of fiction, non-fiction and decodable books, which they are able to read during our ‘reading for pleasure’ sessions.
